Alzhemers disease (Alzimers or sometimes Alheimers) develops in three stages with a total duration of between 3 and 20 years to reach the final Alsheimers stage.

What is Alzimers disease? 

Alzimers disease has the result that the nerve cells in the brain will slowly die. This is particularly damaging to the memory. A usual sign (symptom) of Alzhimers is that the short term memory starts to fail. With medication, this development can be slowed down and the symptoms of Altzheimers can be controlled to some extent. If you have had memory disruptions for more than a month, you should contact your doctor for a diagnose.

When the nerve cells in the brain dies, the first affected functions are usually the ability to concentrate, to focus and to understand languatge. It becomes very difficult to express yourself. Alzeimers disease has a slowly progressing onset, it may take up to two years before you actually get the diagnose Alheimers. Alzhemers disease is developed in three stages where the first stage is characterized by tiredness, forgetting things, diminished capacity to orient and speech difficulties. The first stage of familial Alheimers disease takes between one and a few years to develop.

In the first stage of Alzimers the patient forgets things and this accelerates, it becomes more difficult to keep the concentration, ability to speak is affected slowly with difficulty to find the words and the language gets simplified in this stage of Altzheimers. It becomes increasingly difficult to participate in a conversation. There are concentration difficulties, lack of initiative. In this stage, the Alsheimers disease can be very stressful as the patient is fully aware of it.

Alzimers (Alsheimers) second stage Altzheimers

The second stage of Alzhemiers disease (Alzheimers) usually starts between the third and the fourth year after the breakout. In this stage of Altzimers, the memory loss becomes much worse and there are disturbances to the brains symbol functions. With Alzhiemers in this stage, it becomes more difficult to orient in even well known environments. Writing, counting, drawing and normal everyday things become very difficult when Alzehimers is spreading in the frontal parts of the brain. The social abilities can still be there and vision, hearing and other senses are unchanged.

Alzhimers (Alzeimers, Alzheimers) third stage

The third Alzeimers stage occurs around afte year four when the patient is apathic and has difficulties in communication and the muscles are damaged. In this Altzeimers stage, the patient needs care. Sometimes there are epilepsy, the blood pressure is normal to low. Alzheimers can last between 5-20 years.
